Photography Business School
Last week saw the final training day for a group of photographers that I have had the pleasure of training on the 12-month Business Mentoring Programme. It’s been a fantastic journey watching them all develop their business skills and apply this to their professional photography businesses.
This has included them creating great brands, embracing the art of marketing and identifying their ideal customers and developing the area of photography they want to specialise in. This has helped them to now charge a fee that is appropriate for a professional photographer who is providing great service to their clients.
As part of the last training session our guest speaker was Nigel Warner from Tree Top View, a Words and Ideas Consultancy who was talking about ‘How to communicate in written form to appeal to your target market.’
After the training day we all went out to a local restaurant for celebratory meal.
As part of the final day Michelle Winstanley had brought in for us all some delicious doughnuts to eat – “Thank you, I don’t mind if I do”
