I am proud to say that photographers from all over the country attend my Essex Wedding Photography Workshop. The most recent course saw people from Lincolnshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, London and Norfolk joining us.

Wedding Photography Course Day 1

We usually have day 1 on a Saturday where we spend the day photographing our Bride & Groom models. Starting off at the church you learn the essential photographs to take on a wedding. This includes dealing with various lighting issues, from the bright sun outside to the low light in the church.

We got to spend some time in a wonderful open field where everyone was able to practice off camera flash techniques. This includes balancing the off camera flash with ambient light to create images that make the bride and groom ‘pop’ from the image. The afternoon included Bridal Prep and Groom Prep photography

Wedding Photography Course Day 2

On day 2 of the Course, it’s the business side of wedding photography that we look at. In the morning we do an image review of everyone’s photographs before covering post production workflow and wedding album designs. In the afternoon I deliver information on identifying your ideal client, marketing, branding, wedding consultation, pricing for profit and recommended suppliers.
